Hotels in Texas, United States of America

Texas is a massive state in the southern US with a climate that varies from humid subtropical in the east to arid desert in the west, famous for its smoky BBQ joints and live music scene in Austin's Sixth Street. Summers can hit 100°F (38°C), so you can cool off in the spring-fed waters of Jacob's Well near Wimberley, while mild winters in the 50s°F (10-15°C) are perfect for hiking the South Rim trail in Big Bend National Park. Distinct areas include the Hill Country, where you can bike through bluebonnet fields in April, and the Gulf Coast, where spring brings calm waves for paddleboarding at Mustang Island State Park.
